DENMARK FOOD TOURS
- Sights, sips & bites -
Denmark is one of the smaller countries in Europe, both in size and in population, but it's got a long and varied history, even claiming the oldest flag in the World (and we always display it everywhere so you don't forget where you are!)
The cool climate is ideal for a lot of crops from grains to wild herbs and berries. You'll see a gazillion cows graze on the fields. And even if less visible, Denmark holds the world record of hogs per inhabitant (just about 2 x 1).
Despite our strong Viking roots, modernization took its toll and a lot of the folklore was lost for the sake of convenience. But it's coming back strong as Danes are rediscovering the richness of their land more than ever before. One needs only mention Noma, the Danish restaurant that recently became no 1 in the World.
On our Denmark Food Tours, we'll mix all ingredients to show you our history, beautiful countryside, the Danish culture & the flavours of our land.
With a real Dane as your guide & friend for the day, you'll also get the feel for our unique northern "hygge" culture.
Let yourself experience Denmark to the utmost with a fun and relaxing day discovering the Sights, with a few Sips & Bites - a hedonistic day with Denmark Food Tours.
Trips are for a small group and run for a min. of 2 pp and a max of 8 - keeping each tour unique and intimate.
Our first day-trip runs from Aarhus every Saturday to the amazing region of Mols from June until the end of August. Stay tuned for more tours in the future and/or contact us for a customised private tour.
